Wootton Knowle - Phase 2 - Conservatory
The south-west end of Wootton Knowle farm benefits from a large, elevated terrace with outstanding views over the Vale of Porlock, Exmoor, towards the sea. An earlier phase had helped to calm the climatic influences on the enjoyment of the terrace but it was not yet a feature that could be used year-round.
The large section oak framed construction offers a traditional link to the house and is direct glazed with extensive detailing to maximise the viewable outlook. Internal conditions are balanced with solar control glass, automated side and roof opening windows, two large door-sets and under-floor heating to provide a comfortable space used as a relaxing day-room for all seasons.
